What was the most important piece of advice you have been given in your life?
Trust your intuition! It is the best thing you have!
How did you come to launch NiK Personalberatung?
When I decided to leave an IT start-up as HR manager at the age of 30, it was initially difficult to find similarly exciting work. But then there was a personal experience that inspired me to become active in the healthcare market. This is where I saw and still see my calling as an expert in recruitment, career counselling and job application coaching.
What exactly does NiK Personalberatung do?
NiK Personalberatung supports companies and high potentials from the healthcare industry in executive search and job search measures with the goal of connecting candidates with the companies and company cultures that are right for them.
There, they can make an important contribution in our focus area of severe and rare diseases by helping to drive real innovation.
The NiK Personalberatung team provides support and guidance throughout the entire search and recruitment process and remains in contact with all parties even after the successful placement of the candidate.
What distinguishes NiK from other HR consultancies?
On the one hand, we have been operating exclusively in the manageable but very specialized healthcare and life science market for 20 years and are really at home there. We have a strong network, excellent relationships with our clients and candidates and enjoy a high level of trust.

What is the best thing about your job?
Definitely the daily work with great people and personalities in ever-changing constellations. Always getting back into the ring to find the best solution for medical professionals and companies and seeing everyone thrilled at the end. That’s motivating and a lot of fun. It’s the people who enrich our job and make it truly meaningful in the end.
What is the biggest challenge in HR consulting?
It is becoming increasingly difficult to offer a top service at a competitive price. The reason for this is the rapidly advancing globalization and the associated strong growth in the desire for large, international partners.
